Connecticut homicide suspect caught in Massachusetts

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — A suspect in a Connecticut homicide has been captured in Massachusetts.
State police say 34-year-old Jesus Manuel Sierra-Ramos was captured at about 2 a.m. Friday hiding in a Springfield apartment.
Sierra-Ramos is wanted in connection with a Dec. 30 homicide in New Britain.
The state police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, working in conjunction with New Britain police, received information that Sierra-Ramos was in Springfield.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday as a fugitive from justice and will be held pending rendition to Connecticut.
No other information was immediately released.
