On Sunday, here's what you should do: grab a blanket and a picnic, head to the Old Lighthouse Museum on Fisher's Island Sound, and settle in for a fine concert.

This "Music at the Lighthouse" has become a fine summer tradition produced by Salt Marsh Opera and supported by the Stonington Historical Society.

This year's show, dubbed "Broadway & Opera Favorites," finds soprano Rachele Schmiege and tenor Stefan Barner singing Broadway ("My Fair Lady," "The Music Man" and "Guys and Dolls") and opera (Verdi, Puccini and Bizet).

The lawn at the Stonington Borough lighthouse opens at 5 p.m., and the concert itself starts at 6 p.m. The concert benefits Salt Marsh Opera.

Music at the Lighthouse, 6-7:15 p.m. Sunday, Old Lighthouse Museum, 7 Water Street, Stonington Borough; rain date July 10; adults $10 in advance (sold at Tom's News in the borough), $12 at the gate; free for kids under 14; (860) 535-0753.
