Why would anyone get a dog just to leave it outside and neglect it? It doesn't make sense.

It is abuse pure and simple. Neglect is a form of animal abuse. You get this cute little puppy and enjoy it for a while and then when it starts growing up you don't want to be bothered loving it and giving it attention anymore. Why have an animal to just neglect it?

I have noticed that over the years that people are becoming more educated on animal issues and are much more compassionate, but there are still those ignorant few who still don't get it.

If anyone sees a dog tied up outside without any food, water or shelter, please call the dog warden or police because it is a crime and the people should be punished. You don't have to leave your name, but don't let them give you the runaround either. Speak up for the voiceless.

Shame on people who still leaves dogs tied up neglected. Give the dog away to someone who will love it and pay attention to it. Imagine laying in the dirt or grass in the darkness of the night alone. How would you feel?
