State police arrest bounty hunters

Plainfield - State police arrested a pair of bounty hunters Friday in Moosup.

Roger Kaczetow, 27, of Prospect and Samuel Weston, 32, of New Britian created a disturbance and caused risk of endangerment to their suspect and innocent bystanders, including a 58-year-old woman, police said.

Kaczetow was charged with bondsmen violations, breach of peace and reckless endangerment.

Weston was charged with breach of peace.

Police said the men violated a law that requires bond enforcement officers to notify the local law enforcement in the town where they intend to apprehend someone. The crime, police said, is a felony.
