The First Grade class at Saint Bernadette School has been learning all about penguins. In addition to learning about them, the class was very fortunate to accept an adoption gift from Mr. D. Garamella of an African Penguin named Marypenguin. The students all await news of her release back into her own natural habitat near the South Pole.In the mean time, she is being cared for by the South African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds, SANCCOB.
