The Day's new "Live Lunch Break" concert series, streaming at theday.com, continues at noon Thursday with a performance by Jon Young. The multi-stylistic Young, the anchor behind two popular New London bands, Straight to VHS and Hind Legs, will play a solo acoustic set and talk about his career from the secret soundstage deep inside The Day's fortress. Will Young revisit the garage glory of tunes like "Hey" or explore newer material such as "Knocking Me Out"? Or dive into uncharted waters? You never know - but he's a great songwriter. "Live Lunch Break" is hosted by Rick Koster and produced by Pete Huoppi, the pair behind the newspaper's popular online "Song Spinner" series.
