Norwich police release name of shooting victim
Norwich – Police have identified the woman who was fatally shot early Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Mai Thai Restaurant.
Donna L. Richardson, 45, of 127 Hempstead St., Apt. 401, New London, died shortly after the 1:50 a.m. shooting, police said this afternoon.
Richardson and another female victim who was injured in the shooting and whom police did not name were transported to William W. Backus Hospital.
Police arrived at the Mai Thai Restaurant and found Richardson and the other woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
The investigation is continuing and police have yet to release more details about the shooter.
