Labor chief resigns

Hartford - State Labor Commissioner Glenn Marshall has resigned from the job citing "personal reasons," a spokesman for the governor said Monday.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy accepted the resignation and thanked Marshall for his service, spokesman Andrew Doba said. A former president of Carpenters Local 210, Marshall was appointed by Malloy in January, 2011.
