The Blackstone Memorial Library needs your input! In June, the Board of Directors of the Library began a strategic planning process by establishing a Strategic Planning Committee, which includes Board members, staff and community members. The Committee has developed an online Community Survey which will gather information about how the community utilizes the Library. The survey also provides an opportunity for the community to share its perspectives on the future direction of the Library. The planning process will also include internal analysis, focus groups, and interviews with community members. “It is absolutely crucial that we hear from our patrons, community members, and others interested in the Library. The Library is here to serve the needs of our community. Please take the opportunity to give us your input!”, said Jan Day, chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.
