Trendowski & Allen, P.C. is pleased to announce that Michael A. Barrese has joined the Firm as an Associate. Attorney Barrese graduated from Lehigh University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2012. While attending UCONN Law, Attorney Barrese was active in the Tax Clinic where he represented low income taxpayers on tax issues with the IRS and the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services. He was the Chief Financial Officer of the Student Bar Association, Vice President of the Mock Trial Society, and Assistant Managing Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. He was also published in the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.

In addition to his academic achievements, Mike is an avid Marathon runner, having successfully completed six marathons, most recently the 2012 New Jersey Marathon.

Attorney Barrese has worked for our Firm as a law clerk since 2010 while attending law school. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked as a Financial Analyst at The Burgiss Group in Hoboken, New Jersey, where he evaluated and reported the performance of private equity funds for institutional investors.

Attorney Barrese's litigation practice will concentrate in the areas of business law, commercial transactions, real estate transactions, and liquor liability. In addition, he will be handling insurance coverage, insurance litigation, and personal injury matters.
