Ever wonder why we pay our elected officials?

Write to Joe Lieberman and you get a reply that he is leaving at the end of the year and won't work for you. Try again with his replacement.

Why should we pay him any wages when he quit being our senator 10 months ago?

The Congress would rather fight over Benghazi, Libya and Gen. Petraeus than work on U.S. jobs, deficit reduction, or lowering middle-class taxes.

Why not save money and close down Washington?
