Unlike Day, big-city paper ignores letters

I write to commend your publishing every one of my letters to the editor over the several years I wrote them.

I now live in Philadelphia and write letters to the editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer, none of which have been published. I suspect that when they see my name at the bottom of a letter they toss it in the waste basket without bothering to read it.

Kudos to The Day for its open-mindedness.
