Making pancakes at East Lyme fundraiser

Volunteer Quin Selmeski, 13, of East Lyme pours pancake batter in the kitchen at Sunday's annual pancake breakfast to benefit the Niantic Community Church Senior Youth Fellowship. Quin says the first time he made pancakes was at the age of 7. On Sunday, he prepared a large breakfast for his family. The fundraising effort assists in offsetting the cost of the annual Senior Youth Fellowship mission trip. This year the group plans on heading to Queens, N.Y., in July.
