Ken and Linda Lamothe of Norwich are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Zachary Lamothe, to Jaclyn Raffol, daughter of Robert and Mary Anne Raffol of Needham, Mass.
Zack, a 2001 graduate of Norwich Free Academy, earned a bachelor's degree in American studies in 2005 from Boston University. He attained a master's degree in special education from Southern Connecticut State University in 2007.
Jaclyn, a 2001 graduate of Needham High School, earned a bachelor's degree in public and community service in 2005 from Providence College. She is also a 2011 graduate of Regis College with a master's degree in special education.
Jaclyn and Zack, both, teach special education in Marshfield, Mass. Zack is the author of "Connecticut Lore: Strange, Off-Kilter, & Full of Surprises" to be released by Schiffer Books this summer.
The couple will wed in the fall of 2013.
