Stonington — Police charged a Mystic teenager Tuesday with causing what may be up to $100,000 of damage to an unoccupied home on Osbrook Point in Pawcatuck where he was throwing parties this winter.

Cullen S. Faulise, 18, of 28 Meadowbrook Lane, was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court May 28.

Police were called to the home in March 24 after owners came to check on the house and discovered the damage. They use the home on a limited basis.

Police said they found the entire home had been vandalized with dozens of holes up to 3 feet in diameter in the walls, and damage to floors, countertops, doors, thermostats and lights. A rug was burned in front of the fireplace.

There was also evidence of parties as smashed bottles, cups, cans, garbage and condoms were strewn about the home. Items were also stolen from the house, which did not have any power.

Police said they are waiting to receive an estimate from a contractor about the cost of repairs so they can determine exactly how much damage was done.

Police detectives interviewed 35 people who attended parties there or had knowledge of what occurred. Detective Cody Floyd said this afternoon that no other arrests are expected as they determined Faulise was the ringleader and organizer of the parties which were held on a regular basis as word spread about them.
