East Lyme — The Registrars of Voters will hold two more special voter registration sessions for the Nov. 5th general election.
The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 for the final regular voter registration session of electors who have will be 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, or a resident of East Lyme on or before Oct. 29, 2013. Applicants must appear in person in order to be registered for the Nov. 5th election.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 4, there will be a limited registration session to admit those whose qualifications as to age, citizenship or residence was attained since Oct. 29th.
Oct. 22 is the deadline for mailed voter registration cards to be postmarked in order for the voter to be eligible to vote in this year’s election.
Absentee ballots are available from the Town Clerk. For information on absentee ballots call the clerk’s office at (860) 739-6931 ext. 120.
