It's time to stop attacking heart of L+M: Its workers

A respiratory therapist, I recently retired after more than 43 years of service at Lawrence+ Memorial Hospital and I implore the hospital to keep the true heart of this hospital beating. How does it better serve our community by replacing dedicated and loyal staff with out-sourced help? Is it not like sending jobs we need in this country to other countries? Will we ultimately pay the price with local unemployment? Have we not been burdened enough by the greed of Pfizer? No one chooses a job or career in a hospital to become rich in dollars. It's about the passion of working with, serving, and comforting people and we will all be there to receive it some day.

Who do you want holding your hand? Let the regular employees of L+M do their jobs.
