Recycle pacemakers to help needy pets

I recently read an article about recycling old pacemakers. When the batteries in a pacemaker wear down or expire then the pacemaker must be replaced. When a person wearing one dies it can be removed.

Used pacemakers can help prolong a pet's life. Take it to a veterinarian who can forward it to a university, such as Purdue University in Indiana. Help prolong a pet's life. Somebody's pet will love you.
