When shopping, watch for Russian seafood

In view of the current international situation with Russia and the Ukraine, I had the opportunity last week to do my small part regarding the trade sanctions that are supposedly going to be put in place by our government and allies. On a recent trip to a local grocery store I was in the market for some of those Alaskan King Crab legs for a special occasion. Upon inspecting the package, my 67-year-old eyes noted it was a frozen product of Russia, not Alaska, as I had presumed. I left them in the freezer.

I would enjoin you to do the same. Furthermore, all seafood purveyors should consider returning like items to the distributor. I'd rather eat fish sticks, which I detest, than Putin's crab legs.
