"Wisp," which was filmed in southeastern Connecticut, has been chosen to be part of the sixth annual SENE Film Fest in Rhode Island. The Southeast New England Film, Music & Arts Festival will take place April 22-27 in Providence, and "Wisp" will be featured on Sunday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at the Cable Car Cinema in Providence.

"Wisp" is a Nightshade Productions film written by Nick Checker and directed by Checker and Ben Berryman. It's a fable about struggle and perseverance. A young female runner (played by Blanca Grande) is driven to succeed and she faces a tough rival - but finds supernatural aid from woodland spirits. "Wisp" was shot at various locations around the region, including Riverside Park in New London and at Olde Mistick Village.
