Coast Guard Band to present jazz concert

New London — The Coast Guard Band presents a concert of jazz at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 30, in Leamy Concert Hall at the Coast Guard Academy.

Members of the Coast Guard Band will perform works from classic to contemporary under the direction of Musician First Class Sean Nelson.

This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. The academy, at 15 Mohegan Ave., is handicapped-accessible. All visitors to the academy must present a valid state-issued photo ID. For more information, visit www.uscg.mil/band or call (860) 701-6826.
