Montville _ Montville police say two runaway teens were found in New London Saturday evening.

Tailor Benoit, 15, and Yaira Hernandez, 16, went missing Friday, resulting in the issuance of a Silver Alert.

Benoit’s aunt, Rebecca Allen, accompanied by New London Police, found the teens at the residence of 19 Blackhall St. in New London at 6 p.m. Saturday, according to Montville Police Sgt. Mark Manley.

He said that Hernandez had run away in the past but did not know of Benoit running away before. The two girls were unharmed when Allen and police found them, according to the sergeant. The girls were charged with breach of peace and are due in court May 5.
