Nancy Pelosi, one of the dumbest politicians in American history, last week received a double gift loaded with a perfectly delicious irony. The former speaker - who rolled Obamacare through the House of Representatives, apparently without reading the bill - received Planned Parenthood's highest honor, the coveted and racist Margaret Sanger Award. By way of Obama, who had just returned from his papal junket, she also received a blessed rosary the pope had given the president. Only a week before receiving her precious beads, the congresswoman, in accepting the Sanger Award, had called people who believe that life begins at conception just plain "dumb."

"When you see how closed their minds are, or oblivious, or whatever, it is - dumb," said the former speaker.

I'm guessing that she would include Pope Francis on that list of "dumb" believers. Irony doesn't get any better than this, nor does "her dumbness."
