Three Rivers presidency candidates to tour campus

Norwich — Three finalist candidates for the presidency of Three Rivers Community College will tour the campus separately and meet with students, staff and the public in the coming week.

Meghan LaCasse, executive assistant to the president at Three Rivers, said the three day-long visits are planned for May 5, May 6 and May 12. Each day, sessions that are open to the public are planned for 10 a.m. with students and members of the community and at 11 a.m. with faculty and staff. The candidates also will have private meetings with the college advisory committee and various campus groups. They then will meet with officials at the Board of Regents for Higher Education in Hartford in the afternoons.

The Board of Regents plans to identify the finalist candidates and release biographical information a day or two prior to the visits.

The Board of Regents announced Tuesday that finalists have been selected in the search for presidents for Three Rivers, Asnuntuck and Quinebaug Valley community colleges.
