Backus schedules Alzheimer's forum for July 8

Norwich – The William W. Backus Hospital will host a free educational forum on Alzheimer’s disease from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 8 in the hospital’s main lobby conference room, room 326. 

The talk, titled, “Is It Alzheimer’s or Just Forgetfulness?” will be hosted by Dr. Mahmoud Okasha from Comprehensive Psychiatric Care. He is a member of the Backus medical staff and an associate clinical professor at the Yale School of Medicine.

Okasha will discuss the signs, symptoms and treatments of Alzheimer’s disease.
