UPDATED: Three arrested outside Taylor Swift's Rhode Island house

Westerly — Three local people were arrested over the weekend outside Taylor Swift’s beachfront home in Watch Hill after they allegedly threw beer bottles at security personnel guarding the property, police said.

Michael Horrigan, 29,  and Tristan J. Kading, 28, both of 355 Providence-New London Turnpike, North Stonington, and Emily E. Kading, 26, of 159 Mechanic St., Pawcatuck, each were charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said they were responded on Saturday night to Swift’s home at 16 Bluff Ave. for a report of three to five people on the property near the ocean who were throwing bottles.

Police spoke to Ryan Poirier, a security guard,  who told them that not only were beer bottles thrown in his direction, that the trio also  “extended their middle fingers towards him” and then shouted an expletive at him.

Poirier told police he took cellphone photographs of the group after they threw the bottles at him.

As an officer started to walk towards the group, one of the men, later identified as Horrigan, started to run away but was apprehended by another officer.

Poirier identified all three suspects as the individuals who threw the bottles.

All three were arrested then released on a promise to appear in court. They also were ordered not to trespass on Swift’s property.
