Big season ahead for Azlynn on 'Sullivan & Son'

The TBS comedy "Sullivan & Son" - whose stars include Valerie Azlynn, who grew up in New London and Waterford - kicks off its third season this week. It debuts at 10 p.m. Tuesday, with a second new episode right afterward, at 10:30. In "Sullivan & Son," Steve Byrne plays a guy who has left his gig as a New York City corporate attorney to run his family's bar in Pittburgh. The episode airing first on Tuesday brings back guest star Ken Jeong, from "Community" and "The Hanger." He's just one of several guest stars returning this season, including Kunal Nayyar from "The Big Bang Theory." But here's the most important thing to know: this season, the show is planning to explore the relationship between Byrne's character and his best friend Melanie, played by Azlynn.
