Connecticut Sun continue menacing road trip in Indiana

Catch is back, and that's bad news for the Connecticut Sun and the rest of the Eastern Conference.

Perennial All-Star Tamika Catchings is back on the court for the Indiana Fever after missing half of the WNBA season to a sore back. She and Indiana play host to Connecticut today at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (noon, CPTVSports).

Indiana, much like the Sun, has treaded water in a woeful Eastern Conference. The defending conference champion Atlanta Dream (13-5) are the only team with a winning record.

The Fever (9-10) are in second place; Connecticut (9-11) is in third place. Just 1.5 games separate Indiana from the last-place New York Liberty.

Catchings scored nine of her 23 points in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's 78-76 win at the Tulsa Shock. She scored the go-ahead basket with 5.2 seconds left.

The road continues to own the Sun as they've lost five of seven away from Mohegan Sun Arena. Eight of their next 10 games are on the road.
