New London home sales, prices fell in June
Home sales and prices in New London declined in June, according to RE/MAX of New England’s monthly housing report.
Ten single-family homes and condominium units were sold in the city last month, down from 18 during the same month the previous year, a decrease of 44.4 percent. The median price of the New London units sold last month was $129,500, down 7.2 percent over the $139,500 median price recorded in June 2013.
In Connecticut, the number of units sold was up 4.1 percent in June, while the median price fell from $303,000 to $299,000, a 1.3 percent decline.
