Waterford advances at New England Babe Ruth 15 tournament

Manchester, N.H. - Waterford beat Plymouth, Mass., 13-2 Sunday to advance to the winners' bracket final at the New England Babe Ruth baseball 15-year-old tournament.

The game ended on a mercy rule after six innings. Steve Gerovitz pitched a three-hitter for the win. Tyler Yeomans was 3-for-3 and scored twice, Corey Conderino singled and tripled and Justin Keating doubled, tripled and scored twice for Waterford.

Waterford has Monday off and plays the winner of the late Sunday game between Bennington, Vermont, and host Manchester on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
