Groton — Power has been restored to the 723 Connecticut Light & Power customers in Groton following a more than two-hour outage caused by a damaged utility pole.
At about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, a portion of the top of a utility pole on Bindloss Road snapped and fell, causing damage to power lines there, according to a CL&P spokesman. Power was restored by 9:45 p.m.
