Raise savings rates, dump bank giveaways

In my opinion, it is in poor taste to give away free admission to amusement parks, or other things that must be costing the banks, when they are giving so little to those who invest their money in the banks.

It hardly behooves me to try to save money in the hopes that I will get some return for my investment. I get more of a return when I buy on credit, and pay the credit card company back each month, thus, receiving a dividend of 1.5 percent on things I would buy anyway, but have put off buying to try to save money.

I assume that is why we get so little on savings, to force us to buy things as a better investment than money in the bank.
