Waterford — Police from several local agencies executed a search and seizure warrant at 217 Shore Road, the home of the late Dr. Martin Frank, a cardiologist who had a practice in New London.

Waterford police Lt. David Burton said officers from his department along with state  and East Lyme police conducted the search.

Marked and unmarked cars lined the long driveway of the home. Officers could be seen standing in front of the home. Neighbors said they had no idea what was going on.

Burton said people still live in the home, but did not elaborate on who they were. He said he could not comment any further because of the pending investigation.
