Lords Point Association offers reward for information leading to arrest, conviction in June attack
Stonington — The Board of Directors of the Lords Point Association is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who assaulted a 65-year-old man at his house on June 6.
Police said the victim told them that he was assaulted by a younger man with a sharp instrument or a knife.
The victim had gone to his storage shed under his home and was assaulted by a man with short blonde hair who was inside the storage area when he entered, according to police.
“The residents of Lords Point value the safe and family-friendly community that we call home,” said Curt Brockway, president of the board of directors. “We are offering this reward in the hopes of bringing this investigation to a swift and successful conclusion.”
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Stonington police at (860) 599-4411.
