Hygienic announces 'f-stop' winners

New London's Hygienic Art Galleries recently announced the winners of the fourth annual "The f-stops Here" photography exhibition. Maria Scaglione won first place; Harrison Judd and June Bizantz were runners-up; and Tony Sullivan finished third. Honorable mentions went to Pola Esther and Scaglione (twice). The show, which runs through Nov. 15, was juried by Scott Gordley, director of the BFA animation/illustration program at Montclair State University.

The Hygienic is at 79-83 Bank St., New London. Hours 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thurs., 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Fri. and Sat., and noon-3 p.m. Sun.; (860) 443-8001, hygienic.org.
