The time has come to make some changes in Hartford. Aundre Bumgardner is the change we need in Connecticut to add some new thinking and ideas to the state legislature. As our 41st House District representative, Aundre will look to lessen the tax burden on Connecticut residents, not increase it. His belief that policy needs to be developed together by Democrats and Republicans working for the taxpayer is sorely needed in Hartford. New thinking that places people over politics and policy over party is Connecticut's road to recovery.

I met Aundre in 2011 when running for mayor of New London. Throughout the time he spent working on my campaign, he was very impressive in terms of his knowledge of policy as well as being truly keyed in with local issues. He is incredibly connected and engaged with our community in New London. He has a gift for working with any individual no matter the issue.

Having a conversation with Aundre will give you the understanding that he thinks differently than what we have been doing the last two years in Hartford. His energy is contagious, his belief that we can fix Connecticut together is timely. I will be voting for Aundre because New London needs an advocate in Hartford.
