New London — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Chinese food deliveryman of $300 and the Chinese food order at gunpoint late Saturday night in the area of 57 Franklin St.
After the 9:53 p.m. robbery, police said the victim drove back to the Golden Wok where he works to report what had happened, as he speaks little English.
A police dog was unsuccessful in tracking the suspect because according to police the area had been tainted by residents coming to and from the building. No one was injured in the incident. The suspect is described as a dark skinned Hispanic man, 6 feet tall with a thin build and carrying a back pack.
