Let the sun go down on unAffordable Care

It astounds me when talking heads opine on the misnamed Affordable Care Act and conclude that the best that can be done is to nibble around the edges and minimize the damage. Did I doze off and wake up in another country? I thought this was the United States of America. We can solve this problem! Am I the only one that has seen health care premiums and deductibles rise as fast as ever while coverage and care options become an unfathomable morass of red tape and cost-shifting? I can't be the only one receiving a monthly insurance premium bill including an ACA insurer fee, a reinsurance fee and an exchange fee.

This ACA abomination was passed despite the opposition of a majority of Americans and apparently it proved incomprehensible to anyone who voted for it. More than 25 senators that voted on this mess will not be part of the 2015 Senate. I suggest that the House pass a bill adding a "sunset" provision to the ACA effective Jan. 1, 2017 and hopefully the new Senate rediscovers their backbone and passes it along. Over the next two years of presidential campaigning the candidates will have a chance to present their arguments for change.
