Torture report release helped Dems politically

This is in regarding to the article, "U.S. braces for Senate torture report," (Dec. 9). I respect Sen. John McCain as a fellow veteran, and torture is never a good thing, but score one for the Democrats on this one. To get attention away from Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber calling us dumb, the financial cancer of Obamacare, the negligence of Benghazi, and the Constitutional violations with executive amnesty, Democrats have released a true confessions making the United States look bad because we reacted so aggressively to 3,000 innocent men, women and children being massacred by Muslim extremists, to make sure it didn't happen again.

Politically, this plays out well for them in spite of Americans all over the world being at increased risk, but now, when are we going to see confessions from China, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia and others on what they routinely do to torture prisoners? Unlike what we did in reaction to a genuine threat of another massacre, their actions are for political power.

The Democrats have forgotten what patriotism really is regarding do no harm, and march on only to satisfy their political needs.
