New London police identify woman who died on Saturday
New London – Police today identified the woman who died Saturday as 23-year-old Sarah Ann Ruggles, with a last known address in Jackson, Michigan.
Ruggles was discovered at 115 Blinman St., No. 2. after a man called 911 to report his girlfriend was unconscious and not breathing, police said. Responding personnel from the police and fire department found Ruggles at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday. She was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The cause of the woman’s death was not determined by a post mortem exam at the state Office of the Chief State Medical Examiner. Police said they are awaiting results of toxicology testing.
New London police detectives are investigating.
