Staged reading of Michael McGuire's play "The Caretakers"

Playwright Michael R. McGuire's "The Caretakers" - which was developed at Theater for the New City in NYC in 2010 - enjoys staged readings this weekend at Refresh Organic Spa in New London.

The drama focuses on a couple who become caretakers of an island lighthouse. They are trying to run away from their tragic past - but it can't be escaped so easily. And that's not all: the island might not be as isolated and unpopulated as the couple first thought.

Tracey Hollins, Keith Brayne, Felia Williams, Jake Kaeser and Patrick DiCesare star in the reading.
