Montville High School, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of its first graduating class, has announced the formation of an Athletic Hall of Fame.

The school, in a news release Thursday, said it plans to recognize former Montville athletes, coaches, administrators and supporters who excelled in their respective sports of coaching/supporting roles who helped bring honor, recognition, distinctioin and excellence to Montville High by their conduct on and off the field.

The recognition, the release said, "will help maintain the spirit, pride and sense of community as well as serving a historical account of great athletic traditions of Montville High School."
