    Post-game breakdown: Florida

This post-game breakdown is dedicated to Ryan Boatright.

Boatright earned a spot in the UConn Basketball Tough Guy Hall of Fame for his performance on Saturday.

He never felt comfortable, playing with a deep left thigh bruise. Yet he dished out the pain, helping pin a 63-59 loss on Florida.

He contributed a game-high 14 points, six rebounds, six assists and a steal in 39 minutes. He also was the primary ball-handler against the press and played with the poise of a veteran.

He made four clutch free throws in the final 32 seconds to close out the huge win.

"That's Boatright," coach Kevin Ollie said. "He's going to play through it. I've seen him for four years, the evolution of a young man. ... He's able to self-correct himself and always stay in the moment."

"That's what Ryan is about. That's his DNA."

Ollie said he learned that Boatright would be able to play right before the start of the game. It was the first time he was on the court since suffering the injury against Temple on Wednesday.

Then Boatright played all but one minute.

"I owe him a day off, if he takes it," Ollie said.

Boatright was still hurting after the game.

"I think I'm going to tweet a picture of the bruise so you all can see the bruise," Boatright said. "It's crazy. My leg has never been four or five different colors."

The Huskies will remain in Florida for a few more days. They headed to Tampa on Saturday night and play at South Florida on Tuesday.

It's a safe bet that Boatright will be ready to go.
