Congestion follows car fire on I-95 South in Stonington

Stonington – Interstate 95 South was temporarily closed to traffic this afternoon due to a car fire between Exits 91 and 90.
The fire was reported at 3:02 p.m. Two lanes of the highway remained closed at 3:35 p.m. and congestion was reported along the 4.3-mile stretch between Exits 92 and 90, according to the state Department of Transportation.
