    Heroin, cars seized during police raid at New London home

    New London – A search warrant executed at a Lee Avenue residence Tuesday led to two arrests, the seizure of two cars and the discovery of what police described as a large quantity of heroin and other drugs. 

    Members of the police department’s narcotics division searched the second floor residence at 25 Lee Ave. In addition to the heroin, police said they found cutting agents, marijuana and other unidentified controlled substances. 

    Justin L. Price, 27, of 25 Lee Ave., No. 2, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a drug factory. He was held in lieu of a $75,000 bond. 

    William Urso, 21, of 25 Lee Ave., No. 1, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance. He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond. 

    Police said they determined the two vehicles owned by Price, a BMW and a Mercedes Benz, were purchased with proceeds from the sale of narcotics. A large amount of cash and other items also were seized, police said.
