The Lyme-Old Lyme Lions presents its annual Scholarship Breakfast on Feb. 1, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Lyme-Old Lyme High School. The breakfast hosts members of the school's Techno Ticks Robotics Team, and they will demonstrate their new robotic creations. BossGuitar will play 1950s and '60s surf and spy music, and the Good News Clowns will entertain. The menu will feature plain, blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit and more. An iPod Touch is among the door prizes that will be awarded. The Lyme-Old Lyme Lions will conduct free "Pediavision" non-contact eye screenings using state-of-the-art equipment that checks for six eye diseases.
