Plainfield – Police arrested a Plainfield man early tonight for allegedly driving his pick-up truck at a high rate of speed while towing multiple children on a sled behind him.

Michael W. Chauvin, 40, of 65 Community Ave. was driving his 2005 Dodge Ram “at unreasonable speeds” on snow-covered Community Avenue in the area of Town Hall about 6 p.m., according to police who said the bed of the pickup was filled with children as young as 9.
