    Norwich man charged with operating a drug factory

    Norwich — Police on Thursday charged a Norwich man with operating a drug factory after they say he was in possession of more than 3 pounds of cocaine and crack cocaine. 

    Larry Miliner, 47, of 251 Norwich Ave., Apt. 1, also was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of more than 1 ounce of crack cocaine with intent to sell, possession of more than 1 ounce of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell. 

    Norwich detectives, with the assistance of the Community Policing Unit, executed a search and seizure warrant at Miliner’s apartment. 

    Police said they found cocaine, crack cocaine, more than 100 grams of heroin, scales, cutting agents and packaging materials. They also seized $9,500 in cash. 

    Miliner is being held on a $500,000 bond, pending his arraignment today in Superior Court in Norwich. 

    Police said more arrests are expected.
