    Connecticut again sings blue-state blues

Liberals like to call themselves progressives, but I think they have a problem confusing the word progress with improvement. The Nov. 3 election was a case in point. This state ranks at or near the bottom in just about every measure of the economy, yet most communities were content to elect or re-elect anyone with a (D) after their name, the same people and the party that progressed us toward the malaise we now face.

The fine citizens of Bridgeport were so content with their “progress” that they re-elected Joe Ganim. Is electing a politician who steals millions from the citizens considered “progress” in Bridgeport?

Election results elsewhere seemed to indicate that most people were not content with our current political trajectory but here in Connecticut we sadly continue to be a blue state with the blue-state blues. That oft quoted statement by Einstein “Insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting a different result,” would apply here.
