Best-selling author visits Wheeler Library

Author Michael J. Tougias will be at North Stonington’s Wheeler Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, to discuss his work and his latest book “The Finest Hours, The True Story of the US Coast Guard’s Most Daring Sea Rescue,” which was released recently as a motion picture in theaters. Tougias has written and co-written 23 books including nonfiction stories about Coast Guard rescues of sailors, nature, history and travel.

This free program is sponsored by the Friends of Wheeler Library and the North Stonington Education Foundation.
